Carers are the backbone of our community, yet they are often overlooked, under-supported and stretched to their limits. I will push for stronger practical support for unpaid carers of all ages, and for better, more joined-up help for children and adults with additional needs so that both carers and those they support can live with greater dignity and less struggle.
